After the 2024 trip we’ll probably be a bit more methodical on the trip afterwards (maybe like Halloween or Christmas 2025?). It’ll also probably be a shorter 2/3 night trip. We are also contemplating a trip again in April 2024 (assuming not a major change in our finances) before my daughter turns 3 to save a bit on her ticket. Never expected I’d be one of those people that goes to Disney every year but the MDW trip with my 4 year old son (at the time) gave me so many priceless memories and pictures that I just so much wanted to do it again as quickly as I reasonably could. We went Memorial Day weekend 2022 and did a similar routine except paid for airfare and spent around $5k for that weekend but also did a lot of character dining (CRT, BOG, Chef Mickey’s). So thinking it’ll cost about $3-4k this weekend. ![]() Budgeting another $1k-2k for food and souvenirs that weekend, but maybe it’ll need to be more (thinking Garden Grill, Topolino’s, Chef Mickey’s, Space 220). 3 nights at AoA ($900) 2 full days at MK and Epcot ($860). This exercise actually made me feel a lot better about the massive amount of money we dump into Disney vacations, so thank you! ![]() She doesn’t need passes and we bring her food. Baby will be calculated for hotel and gas. Then we usually allow for $100 per person per day in the parks. So I’m going to half that amount since even though technically it was $0, we did purchase some we’ll need to activate around December. BUT, a REALLY good friend gifted us annual passes last year so we actually haven’t activated the ones we have. I think it was $875 or somewhere around there last time, so for 3 it’s $2625 roughly (baby is under 2 still). We have annual passes with the DVC discount. We drive down because we live close-ish, so maybe $250 in gas? Our annual pass situation is interesting. Quick math tells me between fees and the contract we spent roughly $2100 on those points this year for a deluxe resort. We can usually spread our points out to about 16 days a year. We’re DVC, so hotel gets a little tricky. We only bought one ILL (FoP) and it was either $13 or $14 per person We did have a few alcoholic beverages throughout our trip and mostly snacked throughout our days instead of doing full mealsĮDIT: Forgot Genie+! We bought it 5 of our 7 days, paying $20 per person on average. We typically skipped breakfast, except for Cindy's and breakfast at our resorts food court our departure day. QS meals, snacks, drinks & souvenirs - around $2000 total, most of that being souvenirs.TS meals - Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast: $112, Crystal Palace dinner: $140 w/ tip, Raglan Road dinner: $100 w/ tip.Airfare - $695 roundtrip, $60 for 1 checked bag. ![]() 7 nights at Port Orleans Riverside, woods view - $2,941 after a $40 a night discount.I don't remember the exact cost of everything, but it was around $7,000 total.
